“The public experienced a very rare treat by  a mature and refreshing artist. In listening to the music magic created by Frederic Voorn, one finds himself transported to another world of pulsating beauty.” Gunnison Times. Colorado, USA

Frederic Voorn started to play the piano when he was eight years old and at an early age he was soloist in a Mozart piano concerto. Since then, he has performed with several ochestras. During his studies in Amsterdam, Utrecht, London and Moscow, he already performed in many countries and made concert tours in Europe, America, Africa and Asia.

Frederic Voorn performs both on modern and historical pianos. He often gives concerts with several instruments from different time periods, like in the concert series Toets des Tijds, in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and in Museum Vosbergen in Eelde. He performed at international music festivals, dedicated to authentic instruments, such as Antverpiano in Antwerp, The Geelvinck Pianoforte Festival in Amsterdam, The Nordic Historical Keyboard Festival in Kuopio, Finland and the Amsterdam Virtuosi Festival.

As a teacher, Frederic Voorn is frequently invited to give master classes, and this he has done at several universities in Colorado and Ohio in America and at the Zhiganov Conservatory of Music in Kazan, Tatarstan. In the past years he was invited to be a member of the jury at the Amsterdam Student Festival, Koffie bij de Piano in Den Bosch, the 3e Internationale Square Piano Competition in Amsterdam, the Across Bridges International Piano Festival in Valencia and at the  8e Edition of the Concours International de Piano Adilia Alieva in Gaillard, Frankrijk.
